Reopening Middle And High Schools: Sharing Best Practices
As middle and high schools grappled with what school will look like in a post COVID 19 world, SGAP Leaders brought a shared dialogue regarding the reopening of schools to the forefront.
Students, teachers, and administrators were invited to participate in a weekly video conference calls to share Best Practices. We used design thinking as the framework of our dialogue.
We addressed challenges, focused on student motivation, recommended EdTech tools, discussed student access to technology and the internet during distance learning, and more. We extended our invitation to private, charter, independent, home and religious schools.
We shared an Action Plan template at the culmination of the video conference calls to all participants. We also included tips, links, and best practices to help equip our educators.
