PARK CLEAN-UP
Thank you for participating in our GREEN PROJECT!
Within 2 hours, 100 volunteers earned 400 SSL hours by collecting 80 bags or 2000 pounds of trash and recyclable litter from 3 parks.
Special thanks to the Weed Warrior Program! A small group of volunteers helped to remove non-native invasive plants which saved 12 trees from invasive vines!
OUR IMPACT: PARK CLEAN-UPS
During our Park Clean-ups, 328 volunteers collected 240 bags of trash and recyclable materials from 5 parks. OUTSTANDING!

MCPS students SSL Hours:
Remember to check your parent’s or guardian’s personal email address after the PARK CLEAN-UP. You/they will receive the SSL form from DocHub within 7 days of your date of service. Complete the SSL form, print it out and give it to your SSL coordinator at your school.
Parklawn Local Park:
21 volunteers, 22 trash bags, 6 recycle bags.
Weed Warrior Team: 13 volunteers, 12 trees saved
Winding Creek Local Park
28 volunteers, 28 trash bags, 5 recycle bags
East Norbeck Local Park
35 volunteers, 10 trash bags, 9 recycle bags
