EcoCity Farm Tours (MD, DC, VA)

Tours of food waste composting processes which uses thousands of worms to rebuild healthy soil and restore the environment. Students learn  about the healthy benefits of selective nutrition while touring an outdoor farm and bee hive. Theme: Food Desserts

Prince William County Eco-Park Tour

(MD, DC, VA) Tours focus on renewable energy, environmental economics and stormwater management. Over 383 acres of landfill. Themes: Recycling, Renewable Energy, & the Environment

SGAP Energy Tours (NJ, MD, VA, DC, NY)

SGAP eXchange: Opioid Crisis & Teen Suicide (MD, DC)

Students discuss with experts the epidemic of teen suicides and its relationship to the opioid crisis. Discussion includes methods that students can use to raise awareness & impact their communities. Theme: Good Health
