7th and 8th graders learn about the internet of things and the value of coding from panel of experts. Day includes a workshop on how to use
Scratch code to create their own games. (MD,VA)
*SGAP $mart Money: The Trading Game*
Students participate on competing teams as part
of a portfolio management simulation game on a mock trading floor. Theme: Finance & Investment
*SGAP eXchange: Opioid Crisis &
Teen Suicide
Students discuss with experts the epidemic of teen suicides and its relationship to the opioid crisis. Discussion includes what students can do to raise awareness & impact their community. Theme: Good Health (MD, DC)
