SUMMARY:THINK DESIGN for Social Impact (Wootton High School)
DESCRIPTION:Our Think Design workshop is designed to provide our students with a highly-engaging\, hands-on experience that allows them to envision themselves as agents of change and social entrepreneurs. Our workshop also seeks to empower students to tackle real-world challenges in their communities and beyond by introducing and cultivating skills in design thinking and promoting creative optimism. Students then leveraged these concepts to explore and ideate potential solutions to thorny problems such as teen suicide and mental health\, environmental justice\, climate change\, health equity\, or systemic racism.
